Since 2013, we have led efforts to bring accessible veterinary care to animals in impoverished communities of South America. Our initial efforts are grounded in Ecuador and will soon expand to Bolivia, Peru, and Panama.
Our Mission
As a 501(c) 3, La Casa del Perro unites communities together by bringing financial and volunteer support from North America to animal shelters in small disadvantaged communities of South America. Together we provide accessible veterinary services to animals and educate people about the link between animal welfare and healthy communities. Our collaborative work allow us to develop projects that have the most beneficial impact on the animals and their people. We rely on the generosity and kindness of donors and volunteers like YOU to make this work possible.

What We've Achieved
We are continue developing new projects with shelters and rescue organization in South America.
We have assisted local ongoing sterilization efforts in the coast of Ecuador for two years.
Our first pilot self-funded project took place in Quito Ecuador in February 2020! We funded treatment for 7 cases of TVT and held a small conference to share knowledge with local veterinarians treatment for the most common cancers in Ecuador.
We have supported three organizations on the outskirts of Quito in order to fund their daily veterinary expenses incurred for their rescued animals.
We have conducted various fundraiser events in WI, USA to accomplish our various projects.
We will soon be expanding to other territories!
